How do I unlock my domain for transfer out ?

If you wish to transfer your domain out to another ICANN Registrar you will first need to unlock your domain name via your control panel and obtain an authorisation code (for .org, .biz, .name, info names) / UDAI (for .nz names). Your domain names are locked when in Nominate.Net's control to avoid illegal transfers (or domain theft). We therefore ask that if you are going to transfer out you agree to our terms and conditions of transfer and unlock your domain for a 30 day period. During this 30 day period you should ask your new registrar to initiate the transfer and your domain should transfer across successfully. Any transfer attempts on domains that have not been unlock will fail immediately.

How do I get an authorisation code or UDAI code for .nz names ?

If you wish to get an authorisation code or an UDAI code, email your request to damon@nominate.com. Stating in the subject line the domain name for which the code is required.

Why can't I transfer my domain ?

If you wish to transfer your domain out to another ICANN Registrar there are serveral scenarios which could stop your transfer. If your domain name has been registered recently please understand that you cannot transfer recently registered domains until 60 days after registration. You must unlock your domain otherwise your transfer will fail.
